Rug Cleaning in Vanderbilt Beach
Collection and delivery in Vanderbilt Beach are included. We take the rug back to the workshop, wash it properly, and bring it home.
What Vanderbilt Beach is built from
North Naples on the Gulf, about nine miles up from the centre of the city, between the Pelican Bay boundary and Naples Park, with Delnor-Wiggins Pass at the north end. Gulf-front condominiums, low-rise buildings, and single-family houses on the Vanderbilt Lagoon canals.
Beach households, with a heavy share of second homes and rentals and a very great deal of foot traffic between the sand and the living room.
The Vanderbilt Beach problem
This is the sand neighborhood. The quartz sand on this coast is fine and hard, and it does not sit on top of a rug — it works down to the base of the pile and lodges against the knots, where it cuts like sandpaper every time somebody crosses the room. A vacuum lifts the loose surface and leaves the rest exactly where it is doing the damage. Add the salt that comes off the Gulf with it, holding damp in the pile, and a turnover schedule in the rental units that means nobody lifts a rug from one year to the next. Rugs here wear out from underneath, and the owner reads it as thinning pile rather than as grit, which is why it keeps going.
If that sounds like your rug, send the form and describe what you are seeing. We will tell you whether it needs the full treatment or not.
